Pauline Bossy SWITZERLAND	Nice, welcoming and open-mind: these are three words that describe well my homestay family here in Toronto. I think that living in a homestay family was a real opportunity for me to practice my English conversation and also to learn more about people living in Canada. So far for me, being in a homestay was a real beautiful experience and I suggest everyone to do it because for me it is the best way to know more about a different culture.
Nicolas Londoño Correa COLOMBIA	Stay in a homestay is a great experience that complements my learning adventure in Canada. The host family are very nice and kind and they treat you like another family member, which is amazing because you improve your English while you get involve in the Canadian Culture. My host mother is full of energy and she likes to share with young people, know about your culture and going out for dinner.
Tamaki Oshima JAPAN	The host mother was very kind with me. And she was excellent cook. She always concerned about me as if my real mom, gave me a lot of good advice. Her house was very clean, so I was very comfortable. I spent a happy time in there. I appreciate everything she did for me.
Jae-Ho Lim KOREA	“Homestay with happiness” In my case, I get stability from my homestay. It’s like a real home. My homestay mom is like a real mom. She always wants me to feel at home. We always talk about my problems. If I have any problems, she tries to solve them. So, I’m living in happiness.
Rebekka Schafer GERMANY	The host mother I am staying with has welcomed me very warmly. I feel integrated in her life. We love to spend the evening together while chatting, playing cards with friends and, above all, enjoying the specialties of the Quebecois cuisine. I can plan my free time as I want, but if I need help, she is always there for me.

Guillaume Pouillot FRANCE	My homestay was like my family. I was there for almost six month and it was really important for me. There is the school time and after that the family time. It is why I’m sure my period in Canada couldn’t be so nice if Stanley and Shari (my homestay parents) weren’t there. We spoke about their experiences (education, travel, …) and about our projects for the future. It was two nice children with who I had good time. I have really enjoy my period because of my homestay.

We exchange comments about life’s experiences in our different countries and also try different dishes we enjoy from Brazil and Greece. I am not only learning English, I am learning an amount of cultures and their diversity.
Esteban Rosales Davila MEXICO	It was one of the best experiences of my life. I’ll never forget it. The homestay family was the best. They try to make you feel at home. The food was awesome and the people in the school were great. I learned a lot of different cultures and languages and the city is beautiful.
Olivier Frei SWITZERLAND	I like to stay in my homestay family. I’m well-integrated in the family. I can practice my French at home and get to know the Canadian culture. I can concentrate on my language-learning without being preoccupied about anything else.
Gianina Dugand COLOMBIA	My experience has been unforgettable. I left home for a place I didn’t know. “What if the people think I am strange?” But I never felt out of place. My homestay mother has treated me like part of the family from day 1! I learned about my family’s culture and language. In the 8 months I have been here, the teachers became my friends and the students became teachers of their culture. Montreal is full of movement and color. It is alive with an uncontrollable spirit. I am so glad I came and for anyone who decides to learn English and/or French, I highly recommend ILSC Montreal.

I studied in your school and I learned lots of things from your school’s education and I also enjoyed very much. Furthermore, I was very lucky because you had found a wonderful homestay for me. I stayed with Carvalho’s family. Each member of the family behaved me excellent. They gave me whatever I want and they did whatever I want. Selva Elda Criollo Medina MEXICO	Peter and Ana are very nice person, they take care of me, the same form that my family. I feel comfortable with them because they talk with me and teach me a lot of something about the quotidian life. Ana is a good cook they are humorous and beautiful persons.
Edward Mornin CANADA	A major advantage for me when I was studying for two weeks at the ILSC in Montreal was that I could participate in the school’s homestay program. It is true that my homestay family lived rather far from school, in East Montreal, but this was the only drawback. I felt very much at home with my family, a mother and father with three grown children (and two grandchildren) who stopped by to visit often and were very open, friendly and talkative. I always had someone to talk to! My homestay mother was very thoughtful and a great cook. In two weeks, I had a different menu for dinner every single night! I intend to maintain contact with such warm and kindly people.
